We have added new reports to the Quote and Invoice Manager pages, these are a great addition that allow you to run reports on pending, approved & unapproved quotes and unpaid & paid invoices. You can use filters for date ranges, individual clients or individual projects that will let you keep track of important information like outstanding quotes, money owed and let you create a report on those awkward late payers!
Quote Report
You can access the new quote report by clicking the “Show Report” link in the Pending Quotes section:
Simply choose your filter options then click the “VIEW REPORT” button.
..
Invoice Report
To access the invoice report click the “Show Reports” link in the Current Invoices section:
Again it’s as easy as selecting your filter options then clicking “VIEW REPORT”
This is a minor update but one which we have had several requests for. It’s now possible to enter negative rates and quantities in quotes and invoices.
Note: A quick word of warning though, not all accounting products accept negative amounts and/or totals so take care if you are planning to export information from ProWorkflow.
Many of you wanted to be able to give your clients access to historical project information rather than just current projects. We’ve added this option which you can find in the Users/Permissions settings along with the other client permissions.
Just a quick reminder – this will only give your clients access if you have also enabled the “Client View” option on the project.

Just a reminder for our API users that the ProWorkflow API has now been updated to v1.2. The documentation is available in the Client Area (http://www.proworkflow.com/clients/dsp_login.cfm)
or contact Lara through the Got a Question? form here and she’ll get this to you.
Substantially the API is the same however calls have been added since v1.0 and you may be missing out on an easier way to access PWF.
Again if you’re keen to develop an integration with PWF then it’s a great time to get in touch.

Project management, task and time tracking on the iPhone is about to be easy and painless!

You will be able to create new projects, project manage the existing ones, check your upcoming tasks, track time or find a customer’s contact details – it’s now all possible whilst you are on the move!
.
With this iPhone App you can…
- View your upcoming Tasks
- Track time easily and quickly
- Create and edit Projects and Tasks
- View contact details
- and more!
.
When is it available?
The iPhone app is nearing the end of development, and isn’t far off – a few weeks (give or take). Visit the link below and add your email to the orange box on the top right of the page. We’ll email you when it’s ready to go! Tell ya friends!
