We know it can be a daunting task to get into a new application, and especially a project management software solution. This is due to the general level of complexity involved with project management, but also as it’s hard to use a new project solution until you’ve populated it with some data.
To speed up the process of ‘getting into ProWorkflow’ and to help you handle simple tasks even quicker, we’ve designed a ‘Setup Assistant’ tool. Read the rest of this entry »
ProWorkflow can integrate with QuickBooks to synchronize invoices. We recently discovered a small problem with really long company and client names. If they were too long, the invoices wouldn’t send to QuickBooks.
Some info about the QuickBooks character limit on the ‘Company’ or ‘Client Name’ field
Previously the QuickBooks (QB) character limit on these fields meant that occasionally the user received an error on sending invoices to QB. This usually required the user to send the QB log file to ProWorkflow’s support team and involved some troubleshooting our end. QuickBooks character limit for the ‘Company’ and ‘Client Name’ fields is 42 characters (Frustrating eh!). Read the rest of this entry »

As our core solution ProWorkflow is a SaaS (Software As A Service) company, we often get asked about our uptime. We have a number of servers, all hosted with FastServers Datacenter in Chicago. Feel welcome to read more about our servers and data security over on this page.
We pride ourselves on having great uptime and have a number of services and tools in place to monitor this and alert us if any issues arise. Below we’ve copied a few screenshots of the last months uptime report for some of our servers so customers can see how reliable they are.

Slogging it out with the developers and staff at ProWorkflow in the back office creating and refining cool features it’s nice to receive positive feedback once in a while. The following comment made our day today:
“As far as I can see since this product is nothing short of awesome. I have been using it pretty heavily since sign up and have already integrated it with our web site. Compared to others that are more expensive with less features ProWorkflow is far superior. I enjoy the pricing matrix along with the hosted feature. Just to reiterate…This thing rocks!”

The developers are hard at work currently making some changes to the ProWorkflow Quotes and Invoicing plugins. The team are working through a pile of features frequently requested by customers to make these two plugins faster, smoother and much more flexible.
We want users to get the benefits of these changes as soon as possible so we’ve decided to roll out a number of frequent updates as we go. Below are a few of the changes in the latest update.
It ain’t glitzy and it certainly ain’t glam but, by heck, it sure is grunty.
ProWorkflow’s Audit Log now enables filtering by over 200 different actions. Previously filtered searching was available for about 29 different actions but our users have asked for increased clarity and searching capabilities – you got it!
Over 80% of the application is audited and this is really vital for users seeking clear tracking of changes made. ProWorkflow Audit Log shows the Who, What & When of actions (but we don’t always know the answer to ‘Why’!). Read the rest of this entry »
- Another update going out in next few days. Some small fixes to Advanced version… #
