In order to keep our servers updated with the latest server/system software, we’ll be applying some minor system updates in the next week. Applying these updates will require a reboot of your server(s) that will cause a short service outage. For most servers this outage will last only 5-10 minutes.
We wanted to keep customers informed so if you experience any minor outages, you don’t need to worry – it will only take a few minutes
To minimize the effect to users, updates will be applied during these times:
- US Customers — between 10pm & 5am
- EURO / UK Customers — between 4pm & 12am
- AUS / NZ Customers — between 4am & 11am
- TRIAL Accounts — between 4am & 11am
Note: This is based on the time of our server location (US, Inninois).

This update is planned to be outside of work hours for most ProWorkflow users, so should have minimal impact.

This feature has been near the top of our wish list for a while and now it’s arrived we expect it to be one of the most used as well! You can now add or remove users from multiple tasks in just a few clicks rather than having to edit each task individually.
Just use the “Edit ALL” link on the Project Details Page, select the relevant tasks and use the new “Assign” option to select the users and whether you want to add or remove them and then click “Update!” and you’re done!

We’ve just rolled out an update to all subscription accounts and as well as a few tweaks for performance we’ve also squeezed in some more functionality. The new Messaging features we introduced recently have been a big hit so we’re delighted to bring some further updates that we hope will be just as popular!

Files
You have been able to upload files to projects in ProWorkflow for a long time but the file upload interface hasn’t really changed. We’ve just given it a complete overhaul and added some great new features:
- Upload multiple files at once with onscreen progress bars.
- Add files to individual tasks.
- Create custom folders for each project to organise your files.
- Assign permissions to custom folders
- Create private folders to store confidential files.
- Add a message when you upload a file and if you choose to send out an email alert then links to the files will be included that work even if the recipient isn’t logged into ProWorkflow!
These features are available from both the Project Details and Task Details pages, if you need any help using them then just let us know!

Project Details Page
We’ve got some much bigger updates in progress for the Project Details page but as a small teaser we’ve added a couple of new features we are sure you will love!
You can now click on any of the contacts in the “Project Contacts” section to see their contact details. It’s only a small change but one that we think makes a big difference to usability.
Next up, you can click on “Show Descriptions” to bring up the descriptions for each Task in the project, much quicker than having to click on the task and open up a new window!
