Today we rolled out the 7.61 update to all subscription accounts. The rollout went smooth and all customers are now on the latest release. As well as some speed improvements, there were a pile of tweaks and enhancements, but here’s a few noteworthy ones we thought should have a mention.
‘Copy/Move Task’ text
When moving tasks to a different project, you can now choose not to have the task name appended with the text “(moved)(copied)” etc.
Getfile Error page fixed
Previously if an uploaded file had been deleted but the link to the file was still in the email, when clicked – an error was received. This has been replaced with a friendly info message.
Email Alert behaviour
Previously when the alerts were turned off and on for a project, all prior Email Alerts would resend, spam spam spam. Now if the alerts are turned on after a project has started only the ‘New Project’ alert will send.
New Email format
The messages format has been updated to be much tidier. We’ve also cleaned up all the email alert formatting. The new format is a lot cleaner and easier to read.
Reports Page
We have redesigned the Reports page and Custom Reports page. We’ve tweaked the page code to load faster as well.
New Fields
We’ve added some new database fields in this update for the ‘Personal Settings’ (projects page & tasks page) for the next rollout.
