1. Copy Settings between Quotes and Invoicing
We have added the ability to copy the settings from Invoice to Quotes (or vice versa). If you have both plugins (Quotes, Invoicing) you’ll be aware they each have a separate setup section. Now users can simply copy the settings between the sections.
This is much quicker if updating payment details, display settings or default section headings!
2. Invoices from Quotes!
We’ve added a new option to make an invoice from a quote.
This will bring through all the original lines from the quote and was developed as a response to the high number of requests we’ve had for this feature. There is a new button on the ‘Create/View Invoices’ page and from here simply select the Quote and edit the Invoice as normal.
3. View Hidden Items!
The ‘Fixed Cost Items’ page now has a link to view ‘hidden’ items, for those items that may have been added in once but now need to become part of the main Fixed Cost library.
4. Dynamic Settings per Quote/Invoice!
We have added Dynamic settings when creating a Quote or Invoice – this powerful update covers the most requested functionality and adds even more.
The most requested feature was the ability to change the tax rate per invoice. This can now be done on a ‘per invoice’ basis and it’s easy to go back and edit this if needed.
A link called ‘Quote Settings’ or ‘Invoice Settings’ in the header gives access to all the Invoice/Quote settings:
- Quote Logo
- Quote Display Settings
- Local Tax Settings
- Default Section Text
- Fixed Cost Items
- Optional Contact Info
- Display $0 Items
- Contact Info Footer
- Payment Terms
- Email Settings
- Custom Fields
Clicking these sections will expand the row, showing the options. Just edit and click ‘Update’. Couldn’t be easier!
