Following our server migration there are just a couple of things I’d recommend you take a quick look at.
- Your ProWorkflow URL
as the URL for your ProWorkflow account will have changed it’s a good idea to update your saved bookmarks in your browser (don’t forget to do this on the different systems you access PWF from: work, home, laptop…). - QuickMail Reminders
You can remind your staff, and other users that you’ve given login access to, by using the Quick Email function in the Contacts Manager
You can use the different variables to personalize your message, for example:
“Hi {firstname},
You’ll notice that the URL for our project management system, ProWorkflow, has changed. For your information the new URL is {proworkflowurl}.
Please update any saved bookmarks with this new information but don’t panic as there is a redirect in place during this crossover period.
Kind Regards,
Lara
- Custom Login Form Code
If you are using the Custom Login Code to embed the system login in your own webpage then ensure that this is update with the latest code with the new URL and image information.
Simply copy from the form in “ADMINISTRATION > Developer Settings > Login-form Code” and paste to replace the previous code.
- Time and Date Settings
Finally it’s a good idea to check your date and time settings when you login this week, daylight savings has finished and started around the world in the last few weeks so ensure your own time is correct for you! The quickest way to do this is via “HOME > My Personal Settings”, make any changes and SAVE.
We’re really pleased to have this server migration finally done and dusted and are looking forward to our faster, newer and much much better spec’d servers. Thanks to you all for your understanding and for keeping us in the loop
If you have ‘Got a Question’ then let us know, we’re here for you!
