This weekend we’ll be applying some server software updates to a few servers – ProWorkflow.net and ProWorkflow3.net. We’re upgrading the ColdFusion server software to the latest release. This will increase the speed of the ProWorkflow application in some areas up to 30%. In addition, further speed enhancements will be applied over the coming weeks. It will take approx 1 hour to apply the software update to each server, however that may be additional downtime around this timeframe.
ColdFusion 8 will provide an immediate speed increase, however there are some new technologies in CF8 that we’ll be applying to the application to enhance user experience. CF8 also has more powerful server monitoring tools, so we can fine tune performance and provide better service.
Only accounts on these two servers will be affected. To know if your account is on one of these servers, look at the account URL: ie: https://proworkflow.net/company/ or https://proworkflow3.net/company/.
Planned Upgrade Timeframe: (Approx)
USA: Saturday – 6th Sep – 2am-3am
AUS: Saturday – 6th Sep – 7pm-8pm
UK: Saturday – 6th Sep – 10am-11am
NZ: Saturday – 6th Sep – 9pm-10pm
